The HS-1 Hot Shoe Mount is an optional accessory for the H1 / H4n Handy Recorder. It allows you to attach your H1 or H4n to a DSLR video camera. The remarkable depth and clarity of sound achieved by the stereo X/Y mic design brings additional realism and depth to HD video.
The APH-1 package, which is sold separately, includes six additional accessories for the H1. The package includes a windscreen, a mic stand clip adapter, an adjustable desktop tripod, a soft case, an AC adapter (USB type) and a USB cable.

Zoom introduces the APH-2n as the official optional accessory package for the H2n Handy Recorder. The APH-2n features a variety of accessories that make it easier for you to capture your recordings. The kit includes a wired remote control with an extension cable, windscreen, AC adapter (USB type), USB cable, adjustable tripod stand, padded-shell case and mic clip adapter.
Artificial Fur Wind Shield
The RØDE Dead Cat Wind Muff is a velcro stick furry cover with deep artificial fur that fits snugly over the Video Mic Pro. The Wind Muff greatly reduces wind noise when recording in windy conditions.
The smartLav is a professional-grade wearable microphone designed for use in a wide range of film, television and broadcast scenarios, or wherever professional quality audio is required in a discreet, portable format without the complication and expense of additional wireless equipment. With the smartLav the user simply mounts the microphone on the talent, connects it to a smartphone or tablet headset jack and records via the RØDE Rec app for iOS, or any other audio app of their choice.
We now also offer a special accessory package for DSLR users. The APH-4n package includes a windscreen that provides a professional level of wind noise prevention, a hot shoe mount to attach the H4n to a camera, a remote controller with REC, PLAY, STOP and other functions, an attenuator cable for connecting the H4n line output to the camera mic input and a splitter cable to allow simultaneous headphone monitoring.
Like all Zoom recorders, the H1's onboard microphones are configured in an X/Y pattern for stunning stereo imaging. Because both mics are arranged on the same axis, they are equidistant from the sound source for perfect localization and no phase shifting. The result is great stereo recordings with natural depth and accurate imaging.
The RØDE VideoMic is a professional grade 1/2" condenser shotgun microphone designed for use with consumer video cameras and personal audio recorders.
An in-built shock mounting system isolates the VideoMic capsule and electronics from its standard sized shoe mount, providing isolation from external physical factors that may cause unwanted rumble and vibrations in the microphone. Its standard sized shoe mount also includes a 3/8" thread in the base for easy mounting on a boom pole or stand. (note that cameras with proprietary sized mounts require an additional adaptor.)
Its super cardioid polar pattern is highly directional, focusing on the subject in front of the camera, and minimising any surrounding sounds.
Manufactured from rugged and durable ABS, the microphone is designed to withstand being tossed in a camera bag while remaining lightweight and extremely portable.
In addition to the microphone's native 40Hz-20kHz response a selectable high-pass filter at 80Hz is available, which will prevent low end noise such as air conditioners and traffic from being recorded.
A -10dB and -20dB level attenuation (or PAD), selectable from inside the battery compartment, allows recording of loud sound sources, such as live music or motorsport.
