The New Giotto's Vitruvian VGRN tripods are designed to offer photographers lightweight and compact tripod kits supplied with a ball head. Giotto's have designed the tripod with "reverse technology" legs so that when collapsed they fold through 180 degrees and surround the tripod centre column and head - this makes the kits more compact and easier to carry between locations.

Sitting in the middle of the range are the VGRN8255 and 9255 with a maximum operating height of 165cm and weight capacity of up to 6kg. The carbon VGRN8255 weighs just 1.38 kg, the aluminium 9255 1.55kg and both models feature a built in monopod and splittable centre column. The MH5400-652 head has an on/off control and pan lock, a quick release plate and spirit levels.

The VGRN8225 and 9225 are the most compact in the range, both have a maximum operating height of 135cm and weight capacity of up to 4kg. The VGRN9225 is manufactured using aluminium tubing and weighs 1.12kg while the VGR8225 uses 7 layer carbon fibre and weighs just 0.95kg. The MH5310 head supplied with these legs has an on/off control and a pan lock, a quick release plate and spirit levels.

The main tripod castings are made from a forged aluminium alloy for strength and the quick action twist leg locks require only 1/8 turn to lock and unlock.

VGRN tripods feature a splittable centre column to improve low level photography options and all VGRN tripods are supplied with a carry bag.
