The EH-69P is an AC Adapter Charger that can be used to power select Nikon cameras from an AC power source, useful when shooting long sessions. It will also recharge the battery.

The D60, D40X and D40 require the EP-5 for use with the EH-5A AC Adapter.

EP-5 Power Supply Connector for EH-5A and D40X/D40/D60
When connected to the AC adapter EH-5, the EP-5B connector allows you to power the camera directly by simply inserting the power connector into the battery chamber. This applies to Digital SLR cameras that use the EN-EL15 rechageable battery.
Connect EP-5A Power Connector to the EH-5 or EH-5A AC adapter for extended shooting capability.
